Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC)
Calcined petroleum coke (CPC) is the product from calcining petroleum coke. This coke is the product of the cooker unit in a crude oil refinery. The calcined petroleum coke is used to make anodes for the aluminum, steel and titanium smelting industry.
Physical and chemical characteristics:
high strength
fixed carbon content low sulfur
low volatile matter content. They are widely used for steelmaking, ferroalloys manufacture or non-ferrous metals smelting, iron castings manufacture or other related metallurgical and foundry industry.
- Calcined anthracite coal: Anthracite carbon additive agent is washed anthracite calcined in furnace; calcined anthracite carburant carbon content can reach 95%.
- Calcined petroleum coke: Calcined petroleum coke is low sulfur; the carbon content can reach 98%. About 0.3% of sulfur and nitrogen content of around 8000.
- Graphitization calcined petroleum coke: Graphited Calcined pet-coke carbon agent is calcined coke in graphite of calcining furnace and, the carbon content can reach 98.5%, reach 0.03% sulfur, nitrogen content is about 300.
- Graphite powder carburant: Graphite carbon additive is milling of graphite block and high purity. Some impurities are less graphite carbon content can reach more than 99.9%. Because the graphite carburant sources on the defective graphite block, so the yield is low, demand is also smaller.
