Applications

- Furnace joint sealing, subject to specification
- The formulation combines electrically calcined anthracite, synthetic graphite and natural graphite, with coal-tar pitch, coal tar and mixed oil additives as binders.
- Crushing, batching, mixing and kneading produce a paste for ambient-temperature ramming, compact filling and sealing of industrial furnace linings.
- Avoid squeezing the paste during loading and transport: compression can compact it before installation.
- Store at ambient temperature, sheltered from direct sun and strong wind. Indicative shelf life is generally up to one year and must be confirmed for the ordered formulation; binder evaporation can dry the paste and cause delamination or uneven installation.
- Indicative baking shrinkage is below 0.15% for this cold ramming paste. Confirm the value for the ordered grade.

- Installation-temperature ranges of 0–40°C and 17–42°C are both listed. Confirm the applicable range for the selected formulation before use.
